A fun, freindly way to experience the world of backcountry skiing

Designed to offer the first time cat skier a relaxed, friendly introduction to the sport, this package allows you to experience backcountry skiing in a low pressure setting.

You’ll spend a day in the resort with your guide developing your skills to help make skiing ungroomed snow easier and more fun. You’ll also go through the training that all backcountry skiers complete to familiarise you with snow safety equipment and its use.

The next day you’ll head out into the backcountry with a select local provider for your first big backcountry adventure.

With accommodation options in town or on the hill this package is customisable to suit your dates and preferences, subject to availability.

Enjoy the freedom to cater for yourself, order breakfast in, eat in the resort’s bars and cafes, or explore the options downtown.

Day one: check in to your slopeside accommodations
Following days: Cook or have breakfast brought to your room, then either hit the slopes right outside your hotel, or head out catskiing.
Departure day: check out of your apartment and head home tired!

PLEASE NOTE: At the discretion of your guide, heavy snowfall or bad weather may force a re-scheduling of your cat days.

All sales are non-refundable and non-changeable.  However, in the event of a change or cancellation, we will do our best to deal with suppliers to make the change or cancellation at minimum cost to you, subject to our $100 per person handling fee.
